HAZMAT and Chemical suicide will be given by Karen Engleson. John Christiansen will check for a date with Collins Fire Department.

Need to adopt USNG training for disaster response. John Gover can teach the
class.
Don Stockton can teach the class for HAZMAT.
Conferences:
Missouri Mappers Association meets next week - no one is going.
Exercises:
Real Event Blizzard HSEEP report is in John Christiansen's hands.
May 16-20 Statewide Earthquake Exercise - EOC opened on May 18th. AJ from
SEMA is writing this up.
Meetings
SMESO - July 13 was not attended.
HAM Radio net – HAMFest will be in Joplin on August 26 & 27 at Holiday Inn
Convention Center.
Sheltering – no report.
Bio-Terrorism/Pandemic Influenza - Jeanne Millsap
MHA - Northern Tier Coalition met July 6th at 10 am at Sac-Osage Hospital. Next meeting will be October 5 at CMH in Bolivar.
Region D Regional Homeland Security Oversite Committee met July 20. Next
meeting is September 7 in Monett.
HAM Radios in for all 18 counties. Mike Jones and Jim Wright will be
helping set it up (possibly Steve Pierce).
Tactical Interoperability letter from Region D has not been received by
anyone but health department.
Mitigation Plan met with the Commissioners and Kaysinger Basin. It was signed by the
Commissioners with the stipulation to get it in WORD and a meeting with Samantha Dingfelder and John Christiansen to fix the rest of the needed changes to the Plan, a meeting every 6 months with the Emergency Management Agency and once a year with the Commissioners. Need to include HAZMAT in the Mitigation Plan.
Emergency Operations Plan - John Christiansen is working on this. There is a new Annex
H being sent by Karen Engleson.
New Business:
Need for a program to change PDF to Word -
look for software. May need to buy the full version.
