Old Business:
ID Badges – Sheila Christiansen has been working on these in Appleton City & Osceola.
Training: Weather spotters training was on April 24 with about 63 people attending. John Christiansen will get a copy of the sign in sheet to Jeanne.
Mutual Aid Agreements – none have been received since the last meeting, they need to be worked on, John has talked with the commissioners about this.
Update on EOP – working on update, more from Candy Adams to input.
New computer – got it in and is in service.
HAM Radio net – Jeanne reported for 4/7/08 - 12 checked in, 4/21/08 - 14 checked in, 4/28/08 - 18 checked in, 5/5/08 - 12 checked in. Hamfest will be in Warrensburg on July 19. Field Day will be at the Knob Noster Park on June 28 & 29.
Sheltering – Debbie Burns said Greg Gaines was working on shelters for the county and was going to come to the county.
GETS Cards – John Christiansen will follow up on it tomorrow.
Bio-Terrorism and Pandemic Influenza: Jeanne has a need for a refrigeration truck, regular truck, and security for mass dispensing when needed. A discussion on refrigeration trucking companies available. John will check in Quincy on the ice truck and possible MOU. Regular truck from John Gover as U-Haul. Security will check with the sheriff.
Grants – John Christiansen said the grant Ron Snodgrass was working on didn’t come through. Another grant was one to pay the EMD & some office supplies, we meet the requirements, but a lot of paperwork involved.
New Business:
By-Laws changes needed – this was tabled until August with a motion from Robert Albertson, second from John Gover and all in favor. John Christiansen will talk with Candy Adams.
Announcements:
Next meeting: July 24, 2008 at 19:00 at the St. Clair county Courthouse in Osceola. Kathy Lee will talk to us about dispatch pager problems.
