Elliott Machine Repair needed. Jerry Hart made the motion to send it to the factory for repair, second by Steve Pierce with all in favor. Insurance will now cover the Elliott Machine and the HAM Radio by the County. Jeanne will check to see if RHSOC covers the equipment through the contract with Elliott System Company.

HAZMAT and Chemical suicide - Roger Wood will look at dates in January for
classes and get back with John Christiansen.
USNG - John Gover would like to set up a small class. Map books would cost
$16.00 each. Training will take 2-3 hours. Check with Karen Eagleson as to funds
in LEPC paying for classes and map books.
Weather Spotters John Christiansen was to check for dates in January or
February.
Conferences:
Missouri Emergency Management Conference will be in Branson April 3-6.
Jeanne and Steve would like to go.
Exercises:
Real Event Blizzard HSEEP report - no report.
May 16-20 Statewide Earthquake Exercise - EOC opened on May 18th - no
report.

Meetings
SMESO will meet October 12 at 10:00 am in Joplin.
HAM Radio net – Steve Pierce reported 9/5 (none), 9/12 (0), 9/19 (4), 9/16 (forgot). Only
HAMFEST in Kansas City was canceled.
Sheltering – Pam Zaner is leaving and working in Hickory County as of September 30.
Weston Bembry requested removal from the e-mail list. Then said he only wants
emails pertinent to St. Clair County and his role that he needs to know.
Bio-Terrorism - Jeanne Beas reported
MHA - Northern Tier will meet October 5 in Bolivar at CMH.
Region D Regional Homeland Security Oversite Committee will meet October 19
in Springfield. Everyone is invited. Need to RSVP. The RHSOC has reallocated
money for Structural Collapse training.
Jeanne attended a training on Emergency Operations Plans for Rural Jurisdictions.
Mitigation Plan was signed by the Commissioners, but John Christiansen has not met
with Kaysinger Basin since to correct errors and additions.
Emergency Operations Plan has been updated by John Christiansen and copies are being
given out by him.
NIMSCAST has been rolled up.
New Business:
K-9 rescue team in
Region G is available for searching.
Public Water Supply
Districts need to have Risk Management Program in place or civil
penalties could be sanctioned due to
violations.
